The Ship

ABOUT US

The Ship is one of the oldest pubs in the village of Chapel St Leonards. Built during the early 19th Century, we are located in the quieter area of this popular holiday resort, on the road from Chapel St Leonards to Hogsthorpe, next to Willoughby Drain, and we offer a warm welcome to residents and visitors all year round.

In winter, you can relax in front of the open coal fires, taking in the friendly atmosphere this traditional pub brings.

We have recently taken over the running of this pub, and we would love to welcome you to join us and sample our fine ales, lagers, wines and spirits.

We are happy to accept your dog in the pub, but not in the restaurant. If you wish to eat, but don't want to leave your best friend behind, that's not a problem, we can still serve you with food in the bar area.

On Wednesdays, we have a curry night, on Fridays there is Bingo and a Meat Raffle, and we have musical entertainment some weekends, and a folk sing-along each month. Please check our diary for what's coming up.

We are a member of the Freedom Caravan and Camping Club, and have a small five pitch site at the rear of the pub (which is close to the bus route between Skegness and Mablethorpe, and also local shops and amenities). All caravans and camper vans are welcome.
